A beautiful view of palm trees and the ocean when you peek through this window of the aqueduct ruins on the golf course.

Windows: Room with a View

Room with an Ocean View, Montego Bay, Jamaica

This fabulous view of the ocean is from one of the bedrooms of the beautiful Jamaican Georgian style Rose Hall Great House near Montego Bay. Legend has it that Annie Palmer, who owned in this house at one time, was a "white witch" who murdered three of her husbands. This was Annie's view from her bedroom...

Street Art: Greetings from Sea Bright

Greetings, Sea Bright, New Jersey, USA

This beautiful old style postcard mural by artist Jim Kovic is on the corner of Ocean and Peninsula Avenues in Sea Bright, NJ. Sea Bright is a cute little seaside town with a beautiful beach. It was hit very hard by hurricane Sandy in 2012 but got nicely back on it's feet. Worth a visit!

Street Art: Lobster

Red Tank Lobster in Bar Harbor, Maine, USA

I found this red lobster on an off road diesel tank in Bar Harbor, Maine. Bar Harbor is an amazing little town to visit if you go to New England. Beautiful with excellent sights and food.

Street Art: Lazy Day at the Beach...

Lazy Day at the Beach, Sandy Hook, New Jersey, USA

I spotted this birdie on the bay side of one of Sandy Hook's fantastic beaches. The 7-mile stretch of ocean and beaches are about an hour's ferry ride from Manhattan. Definitely worth a visit!

Street Art: Surfer

Surfer, Leonardo, NJ, USA

About 15 crow-miles from Manhattan on the northern tip of the Jersey shore, lies the tiny little village of Leonardo. The only thing really happening in Leonardo is the Henry Hudson Trail that runs between town and highway 36. It's a beautiful shaded trail if you're into biking or walking. This sufer dude was spotted on the wall of the New Jersey Coffee Roaster's shop. Fun surfboard with the little white and yellow daisies.

A ~ Z of Marvelousness: B is for Beach

Beach, Key Biscayne, FL, USA

  • Turquoise water, white sand, blazing sun, lots of fun, maybe even throw in a picnic and a few palm trees – can it get any more marvelous than that?
  • This is Key Biscayne Beach, FL, a five-mile-long barrier island just off the coast of downtown Miami.
  • I took the picture after climbing the stairs all the way to the top of the historic Cape Florida Lighthouse
  • My favorite beaches: Copacabana Beach (Rio, Brazil), Blouberg Beach (Cape Town, South Africa), Kho Phi Phi Beach (Phi Phi Islands, Thailand), and the beautiful Boracay (Philippines).
